Dr. Dalia Fayek, a specialist in communication networks, was a Faculty member in the School of Engineering. She joined the SOE in 2002 and, sadly, passed away quietly in the afternoon on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
The School of Engineering will always remember Dalia for her pleasant disposition, her gentle personality, and her dedication to education and her students. It is a tremendous loss for the University of Guelph community, especially in Engineering. Dalia leaves behind her husband Reda, her two sons, Pavly and Cyril and her parents.
A student award in Dalia’s name is being established in the School of Engineering to honour her memory. Family, friends, colleagues, and students are invited to make a gift to the University of Guelph in memory of Dalia.
To direct your gift in Dalia’s memory, please refer to the instructions on the following page: (http://uofg.convio.net/site/TR?fr_id=1560&pg=entry). All gifts will receive a tax receipt.
If you have any questions about how to make your gift, please contact Annie Benko, Alumni Advancement Manager, CPES/CBS (firstname.lastname@example.org or ext.54568).
